Building Cultural Humility to Support Inclusive Research
This workshop builds research teams that welcome and value diverse participants. Through group dialogues, participants explore how they can build more inclusive collaborations and partnerships by practicing cultural humility.
Exploring Power, Privilege and Identity to Support Equitable Research
This workshop explores how power and privilege operate in research teams. Through group dialogues, participants explore how to prevent harmful power imbalances that can cause a breakdown of trust and sense of belonging.
Broadly-engaged Team Science to Support Diversity in Research
This training uses group dialogues to discuss ways to create research teams that welcome diverse disciplines, identities, ideas, and experiences that suppport innovation and impact.
Inclusive Science Communication
This workshop trains participants with communication skills needed to center the experiences, concerns and hopes of underrepresented groups to promote more inclusive public participation in research.
Dialogue as a Research Tool to Study Health Equity
We provide methodologies to study how dialogue can build a more inclusive culture of care for people historically-underserved by science. Our dialogues in the past have supported patients of color sharing their experiences and stories. Lessons learned from this research approach can foster more compassionate and trustworthy care and support.
